THE MISSION:
The purpose of Sumrall Christian Academy is to train Christian youth to achieve academic excellence and develop them spiritually to their God given potential.
The objective in building a private Christian school is to obey the Scriptural imperative of Deuteronomy 6:5-7 “…love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…”
Proverbs 22:6 to train up a child in the way he should go.
Teaching is training. Training for life must include training for eternity.

Church Affiliation
Sumrall Christian Academy is a ministry of FPC of Sumrall. Students must regularly and faithfully attend First Pentecostal Church of Sumrall and consider Rev. Clint Bourn their pastor. Sumrall Christian Academy facilitates classes at 788 Highway 42 in Sumrall, MS.
Curriculum
Sumrall Christian Academy utilizes Abeka curriculum for K4-12th grade.
K-4/K-5 – 12th Grade: Sumrall Christian Academy operates under Abeka Academy.
A Beka Academy is an accredited, comprehensive virtual distance-learning program for pre-school through grade 12. This academically challenging, college preparatory education features high-quality DVD and streaming video instruction, which uses Christian character-building textbooks from Abeka Book.
This curriculum exceeds the minimum standards of education required by the Mississippi Department of Education.
